Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information. There are no analytics, no tracking cookies and no third-party fonts. The only external script is Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded only when you type a question (see below).
“Talk to me”
To improve my answers I keep a simple log of the conversation for 30 days: which prepared questions were opened, the text of questions you type, the answer given, whether you opened, copied, forwarded or emailed your notes (not their content or your comment), the time, your country (as reported by Cloudflare), the website you came from (e.g. linkedin.com), whether you use a phone or a computer, and a random visit id that exists only in this browser tab. I don’t store your IP address and can’t identify you from this log.
Your notes and your comment stay in your browser tab; when you forward or copy them, your own device sends them, not this site. The conversation is kept only for this browser tab and cleared when you close it or press “Start over”.
Typed questions are processed by TypeSafe (to pick the matching prepared answer) and, if none fits, by Cloudflare Workers AI (to compose a short answer from my CV). Before your first typed question, Cloudflare Turnstile runs an invisible check that you are a person and not a bot; it processes technical browser data and is only loaded when you use the question field. Please don’t include personal data in your question. Your IP address is used briefly to limit the number of requests and is not stored by me.
Browser storage
The site remembers your light/dark theme choice and, for the current tab, whether you chose “Talk to me” or “Read CV”, your conversation, and the random visit id. This stays in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask me what data about you I hold, and ask me to correct or delete it, by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
